Just Push Play is the thirteenth studio album by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was released in March 2001 on Columbia Records. It reached platinum status in the U.S., but could not repeat the success of previous albums again.

Formation

The album was mainly recorded in Massachusetts South Shore. The drums were recorded in Longview Farms Studio in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, played, the strings in the Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles, California, more sound effects in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Village Recorder in Los Angeles. Additional recordings of the piece Fly Away From Here found in the Pearl White Studios, instead of the Whatinthewhatthe Studios and the "Studio in the Sunset Marquis ."

After the relative failure of Nine Lives guitarist Joe Perry and singer Steven Tyler had this time even took control and worked with the assistance of Mark Hudson and Marti Frederiksen.
