Kaoma, Zambia

Kaoma, earlier and on Lozi Mankoya, is a small market town in the Western Province of Zambia west of the Kafue National Park. It has around 14,000 inhabitants and is accessible from Lusaka on the Great West Road. It is the seat of the administration of the district of the same with 162 568 inhabitants ( 2000 census ).

Economy

Kaoma is a rural district. The city is the market for its products. Meanwhile, she has become a tourist destination and develops over their hinterlands beyond. The Kafue National Park is located just east of nearby.
