Kaspars Dubra

Kaspars Dubra ( born December 20, 1990 in Riga) is a Latvian football player. The defender is currently playing at FK Ventspils and for the Latvian national football team.

Career

Kaspars Dubra began his career in his hometown of Riga in the youth department of Skonto Riga, the JFC Skonto, who took the name Olimps Riga from 2005. In Olimps the defender played in the 2008 at the age of 17 years, his first professional season in the Virsliga. In Skonto Riga the tall defender since 2009 is back on the court, where he was honored in the 2010 season by the Latvian Football Federation with the title player of the month of July. With the Latvian record champions he also was able to secure the title. After three seasons at discount Dubra changed in January 2012 to Poland Polonia Bytom. At the club from the Ekstraklasa, he signed a contract until the end of season. After only four league games until the end of the season, Dubra moved back to Latvia for FK Ventspils.

For the Latvian football selection Dubra made ​​his debut in the A- team against China.
