Kassel Literary Prize
The Kassel Literary Prize for Grotesque Humor is awarded by the Foundation Brückner Kuhner each year since 1985.
With him are excellent writers, whose " work is marked by grotesque - comic on a high artistic level." By 1996, the prize was also awarded to literary scholars, who have studied a research focus with the comic. Since then the price goes exclusively to artists. He is endowed with 10,000 euros.
Since 2004, the Foundation also awards a regular prize comic literature for authors under 35 It is endowed with 3,000 euros.
Self-nomination is not possible in each case. The prize winners will be the Jury on proposal from publishers.
