Kenneth Kronholm
Kenneth Kronholm (born 14 October 1985 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, USA ) is a German football goalkeeper.
Career
From the Palatinate to Wolfsburg
The son of a German mother and an American artist Kenneth Kronholm was born in the U.S. Fort Belvoir, but grew up mostly in the Palatinate region around Heidelberg. As a child, first handball player Kronholm began playing club football in 1999 and joined the SG Oftersheim on, for he was in the C- youth initially active as a striker. Only in the Youth B Kronholm was goalkeeper, joined in 2000 in the youth of the Palatine SV Waldhof Mannheim and reached 2003 on the Lower Saxon VfL Wolfsburg. While he initially ran aground for Wolfsburg in the U- 19 league, Kronholm also belonged to the squad of the second team of VfL, with which, while in themselves not used, in May 2004 Season winner was in the fourth division Oberliga Nord.
About Jena into the Rhineland
In January 2005, Kronholm joined the FC Carl Zeiss Jena and won to be the Oberliga Nordost, but came again without even a use in league play with this the championship of the 2004/05 season. Then Kronholm already left the club in July 2005 in the direction of VfR Wormatia Worms, for whom he played five games in the big leagues southwest.
In July 2006 Kronholm moved on to Fortuna Dusseldorf in the third-class Regional, in which he was charged with 13 inserts in the second half of the season 2006/ 07 goalkeeper of Fortuna. After he had his place but initially lost for disciplinary reasons up to a violation of goalkeeping rival Patrick Deuß again, Kronholm moved in summer 2007 to the Regional rivals FSV Frankfurt.
Frankfurt and Rostock
In Frankfurt Kronholm completed in the first round 2007/ 08 first six bets, but lost his place in the starting XI to Florian Schürenberg. During the winter break Kronholm then received a trial with English club Ipswich Town, then the German Bundesliga club Hansa Rostock. He was able to convince in Rostock and changed as the new third-choice goalkeeper behind Stefan Wächter and Jörg Hahnel first to June 2009 to FC Hansa. In return, Rostock previous third-choice goalkeeper Patric Klandt went to Frankfurt.
In Rostock Kronholm played for coached by Thomas Finck second representation in the fourth division Oberliga Nordost and contributed with seven inserts in the 2007/ 08 season to qualify for the team from 2008/ 09 fourth-rate at Regional. At season's end he was after a severe injury of the root of the goalkeeper, coached by Frank Pagelsdorf Rostock first team but this requires as a substitute goalkeeper, so he first completed no further inserts for Hansas second representation. However, in April 2009 Kronholm has been deleted by the now acting as coach Andreas Huber Zach together with Heath Pearce from the professional squad and entirely allocated to the reserve team.
About Rhineland -Palatinate Regensburg
When his contract expired in the summer of 2009 in Rostock, Kronholm moved to third division Eintracht Trier, with whom he claimed 22 missions finished last season the West 2009/10. However, since three teams this season received a license for the following season 2010/11, Trier remained despite the sporty poor performance in the fourth division. However Kronholm joined the following season the fifth-tier SV Waldhof Mannheim, where he was merely substitute goalkeeper behind Mark scours. In January 2011 Kronholm then moved up after completion of a training sample to the third division Jahn Regensburg. After six months of this engagement ended in summer 2011, however, again.
Mannheim and Elversberg
Kronholm was committed on August 5, 2011 for the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg from VfR Mannheim. After a year he moved to the Saarland regional league SV Elversberg with which he ascended to the end of the 2012/13 season in the third league. On July 20, 2013 Kronholm made his professional debut in the third league match against SV Darmstadt 98 (0-0 ).
