Kevin Mirocha

Kevin Mirocha (born 7 October 1991 in Hamm ) is a German - Polish racing driver. Mirocha came to the end of 2011 with German license and takes 2012 with Polish license to race part.

Career

Mirocha began his career in 1995 in karting, which he held until 2006. After winning the 2006 BMW scholarship course, he went in 2007 in the German Formula BMW with ASL Mucke Motorsport at the start. He reached the eighth place overall and finished third in the rookie standings. A special highlight was attending a demo show with the BMW Sauber F1 Pit Lane Park in Warsaw. 2008 Mirocha started for Josef Kaufmann Racing in the German Formula 3 Cup. He finished the season off with the sixth place, reaching a total of four podium finishes.

For the 2009 season he moved to the Formula 3 Euro Series. Along with Johnny Cecotto Jr. went for HBR Motorsport in a Dallara- Mercedes at the start. After four race weekends Mirocha, whose best finishes were 13 places was replaced by Tom Dillmann. In the overall classification, he finished 29th place. 2010 Mirocha again received no cockpit for a full season. He eventually took part in seven races of the North European Formula Renault and finished the season with a win in ninth place in the championship. He also completed guest starts in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

2011 moved to Mirocha Ocean Racing Technology in the GP2 Series, where he team-mate Cecotto was again. A race weekend he broke because of a more long past shoulder injury, which caused problems prematurely. From the eighth race weekend he was replaced by Brendon Hartley. At the end of the season, he finished 22nd overall. 2012 Mirocha received a cockpit in the FIA ​​Formula 2 Championship. He joined this season from the German to the Polish racing license. His Formula 2 racer was painted in the colors of the Polish flag (white- red). Mirocha won a race and was six times on the podium. He finished the season off on the sixth championship course.

Others

Mirochas parents come from Poland. He took also there to kart race, where he took up at the age of four years, including against Robert Kubica. By the end of the 2011 season Mirocha started with German license. For the 2012 season, he joined the Polish license.
