Kevin Steen

Kevin Steen ( born May 7, 1984 in Ville Marie, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional wrestler. He currently performs regularly at various independent promotions. His biggest success to date is the receipt of the ROH World Championship.

Career

Steen was coached by Jacques Rougeau, Pierre Carl Ouellet and Serge Jodoin. On May 7, 2000 Steen made ​​his debut in the promotion of Jacques Rougeau.

February 6, 2004 Steen won his first title, the EEA title. On 11 September 2004, he performed for the first time in the U.S., at Combat Zone Wrestling ( CZW short ) on. With Generico he feuded against the Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe ). In Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Steen and Generico won the PWG World Tag Team Championship from PAC and Roderick Strong. In April 2008, Steen feuded against Nigel McGuinness. September 19, 2008 Steen won with El Generico ROH World Tag Team Championship from Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black. The title they gave from Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards on April 10, 2009. In December 2009, Steen began with Steve Corino a feud with his longtime partner El Generico and Colt Cabana. The feud ended in a match at ROH Final Battle 2010, which won El Generico.
