Kim Ki-sung

Kim Ki -sung (born 14 May 1985 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey player who stands since 2013 in Daemyung Sangmu in the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.

Career

Kim Ki -sung began his career as a hockey player in the team Kyungsung High School. The age of 19, he moved for four years to Yonsei University. The Anyang Halla, one of the two South Korean teams in the Asia League Ice Hockey became aware of him through his appearances in the national team. In both 2010 and 2011, he was with his team win the championship. He subsequently transferred to the U.S. Central Hockey League Tulsa Oilers to. There, however, he did not come into play and only played three times. Consequently, he left the team from Oklahoma after one year and joined in 2012 the Finnish second division HC Keski- Uusimaa. 2013 he returned to South Korea and plays since then for Daemyung Sangmu, the newly formed South Korean third team in the Asia League Ice Hockey.

Internationally

For South Korea, Kim Ki -sung already took part in the U-18 World Cup. After he had noticed in the Division II of the U -20 World Championship in 2005 with eleven goals in five games, he was for the subsequent men's World Cup 2005 ( also Division II) nominated and gave there his debut in the senior team of the Asian country. After his team missed the rise in the following year, although Kim with ten goals in five games played a great tournament, the South Koreans of the South Korean team jump to Division I. Kim and 2008 had, however, succeeded at the 2007 World Cup suffered immediate relegation. But a year later Kim contributed six goals to a rebirth.
