Kingston-On-Murray, South Australia
Kingston on Murray is a settlement in the east of the Australian state of South Australia. It is located in the Riverland region on the south bank of the Murray River.
Kingston on Murray is part of the Loxton Waikerie Council Local Government Area, the state constituency Chaffey and the Federal Constituency Division of Barker.

Origin of the name
Was named the settlement after Charles Kingston, who was from 1893 to 1899 20th Prime Minister of South Australia.
Traffic
The Sturt Highway led earlier by the settlement, but is now out on a bypass and crosses there the Murray River on a bridge. Before the construction of the bridge there were two cable ferries that transported cars across the river.
