Kirill Lyamin

Kirill Alekseyevich Ljamin (Russian Кирилл Алексеевич Лямин; born January 13, 1986 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Avangard Omsk in the Continental HK Hockey League since May 2011.

Career

Kirill Ljamin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its professional team, he made his debut in the Super League in the season 2003/ 04. In his rookie year, the defender gave three assists in 28 games. In the following years he became a regular for CSKA Moscow and was able to prevail in the Super League. He then moved to season 2007/ 08 to Atlant Mytischtschi, in 40 games for which he scored a goal and had four assists.

In the summer of 2008 Ljamin returned to his hometown, where he played, however, in the following two years, not for his hometown club CSKA, but for its city neighbors HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. In the season 2010/11 stood at Severstal Cherepovets of the Russian contract. In May 2011, he was obliged by HK Avangard Omsk.

Internationally

For Russia Ljamin took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2004, and the Under-20 Junior World Cup in 2006 in part. In both tournaments he won with his team a medal - at the U18 World Cup, the gold and at the U20 World Championships silver medal.
