Klötze (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)
Until December 31, 2004 was the administrative community blocks in the Altmark Salzwedel in the northwest of the state of Saxony -Anhalt from the communities Neuendorf and Schwiesau and the city blocks.
In the course of municipal reform, this was dissolved and formed on 1 January 2005 with the nine municipalities of the disbanded governing community Jeetze - ear - Drömling the new administration Community pads.
In this Verwaltungsgemeinschaft 2005 twelve municipalities were merged since January 1. The administrative community existed until 31 December 2009.
On 1 January 2010, the member municipalities were amalgamated into the city blocks and dissolved the administrative community.
Office of the Management Community was the city blocks. Covering an area of 278.27 km ² lived 11,453 inhabitants (2008 ).
