Kochstraße (Berlin U-Bahn)

Metro Station Cook Street is a station on the Berlin U -Bahn line 6 in the district of Kreuzberg. He is below the track leading Friedrichstrasse at the junction with the eponymous chef Street and Rudi Dutschke -Straße. The station was opened on 30 January 1923 and bears in station list the name of the LOB Ks He has an elevator from the platform to the surface and thus is considered to be barrier-free.

Although the station signs with the name Koch Street (Checkpoint Charlie ) are self- installed, it is referred to in the line network plans only as U Koch Street. The 110 -meter-long central platform comes equipped with outputs directly on the Friedrichstrasse. Similar to the other stations under the Friedrichstrasse these with plastered white walls and a yellow to distinguish supporting row in the middle of the platform is designed relatively simply.

From 13 August 1961 to December 22, 1989 this station was to the north of this last line to West Berlin before the trains so-called " ghost stations " drove by.
