Kojo (singer)

Timo Kojo ( born May 9, 1953 in Helsinki) is a Finnish singer. He was a member of the band Madame George.

1977 brought Madame George their first and only album out, Madame George: What's happening. In 1979, he released his first solo album, So Mean, it was a hit. His later albums were brought out not a great success.

After Kojo's third solo album, Go All the Way, which was released in 1981, was a fiasco, Kojo decided to participate in the preliminary round Finnish Euroviisut, which he also won, so he could represent in Harrogate Finland, the Euro Vision Song Contest 1982. His contribution Nuku pommiin, from which also an English version called Bomb Out! was added, and received from any of the 18 participating countries a point and placed at the end of the table. Even today, therefore in the Finnish Ice Hockey 0-0 " kojo kojo " called.
