Koray Çölgeçen

Koray Cölgecen (born 25 May 1985 in Izmir) is a Turkish football player. Since 2012 he plays for third division Alanyaspor.

Career

Association

Cölgecen began with the club football in the youth Göztepe Izmir and was taken in summer 2001 in the cadre of the reserve team. Here he fought his way to immediately secured a regular place. Here he fell to the coaching staff of the professional team and was parallel to his activities in the reserve, also involved in the training of professionals and sat a few times on the bench. His debut for the first team he was on 3 May 2002 in a Süper Lig match against Trabzonspor. In August of the same year he was finally a professional contract, but continued to play mainly for the reserve. Göztepe missed in the 2002/03 season in the league. Cölgecen went to the next season with his team in the TFF 1 Lig Here he fought his way to immediately secured a regular place and completed up to the end of the season 21 league encounters.

Because Göztepe end of the season in the TFF 2 Ligabstieg, Cölgecen left the club and moved to second division Kocaelispor. In this club he was working three seasons before he moved to first division club Kayserispor. Here he received from coach Tolunay Kafka's great support and became one of the rising stars of the season. At season's end, he reached with his team to fifth place in the Süper Lig and won the Turkish Football Cup. In which he was most of the season through injury.

For the season 2009/10 he moved to league rivals MKE Ankaragucu. Here he experienced a mixed season and came to 15 league operations.

End of the season left Cölgecen Ankaragucu and moved to the Süper Lig Up Bucaspor. After this club was relegated to the TFF 1 Lig after a season again, Cölgecen changed again. This time the second division Denizlispor. Even with Denizlispor him jump into the starting line- not succeed; He left end of the season the club.

For the summer of 2012 until his move was announced at Ankaraspor. This association was two years earlier suspended by the Turkish Football Federation from all competitions and had after long trials again given the right to participate in the Süper Lig. In Adanaspor Cölgecen came in the first half of the season 2012/ 13 to a use in the Turkish Cup. The second half of the season he spent on loan at Balikesirspor. On 26 July 2013, wechselter to Alanyaspor.

Cölgecen went through of the Turkish U- 15 to U -20 Turkish nearly all ages of the Turkish national teams.
