Lambert II of Nantes

Lambert II of Nantes ( * before 834; † May 1 852) from the family of Guidonen was Count of Nantes and Angers. He was the second son of Count Lambert I of Nantes

Biography

After the deposition and banishment of his father as a partisan of King Lothar I. Lambert II and his brother remained Warnarius ( Garnier ) 834 in the county of Nantes.

Lambert fought on 25 June 841 at the Battle of Fontenoy -en- Puisaye on the side of Charles the Bald against Richwin Count of Nantes, the successor of his father.
