Lanny Gare

Landon " Lanny " Gare ( born September 5, 1978 in Vernon, British Columbia) is a German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays with the lions Frankfurt since 2013.

Career

Lanny Gare began his career in the British Columbia Hockey League with the Vernon Vipers. Using various positions at universities teams and the minor leagues in North America, he came to Europe in 2006 to the Lusatian foxes. After the 2006/ 07 season he moved to the Herlev Hornets in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen, before he signed a contract with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau end of the season. After a short stint took him to the 2008/09 season, the Red Devils Bad Nauheim under contract.

In the 2010/11 season with 92 points Gare was the best scorer of the league West. In the summer of 2011, he extended his contract in Bad Nauheim and also adopted the German nationality. For the 2012/13 season Gare stood again for the Lausitz foxes on the ice, but the contract was dissolved at the end of the year. Gare present had an offer from the Oberliga lions Frankfurt.
