Lansen-Schönau

Lansen -Schönau was a municipality in the district Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It was for goods located in the town of Waren managed by the Office Lakelands (Müritz). Covering an area of ​​19.81 km ² lived 459 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2010).

Geography

The community Lansen -Schönau in the Mecklenburg Lake District was about 10 miles from Waren (Müritz) away. The wooded area around Lansen -Schönau was located north of Lake Müritz and northwest of the Torgelower lake. The hilly area reached 96 m above sea level near the village of Schwarzenhof. NHN. To the west of the district Lansen -Schönau nature park Mecklenburg Switzerland and Lake Kummerow joined. In the north, the municipality had a share of the knight Hagen lake.

To Lansen -Schönau included the districts Alt Schönau, Johannshof, Lansen, New Schönau and Schwarzenhof.

History

The community Lansen -Schönau established on 1 January 2005 through the merger of the formerly independent communities of Alt Schönau and Lansen. She has teamed up on 1 January 2012 with neighboring communities large and Gievitz Hinrichshagen to the municipality Peene Hagen.

Infrastructure

Lansen -Schönau was on the road from Malchin Waren (Müritz). In goods is the nearest railway station, from where there is about the Lloyd connected by train to Berlin and Rostock as well as the Mecklenburg Southern Railway to Parchim. Until 1998 there was also a breakpoint at the now disused railway goods Malchin.
