Lara Fabian
Lara Fabian ( born January 9, 1970 in Etterbeek as Lara Crokaert ) is a Belgian- Canadian singer and songwriter who took part in 1988 for Luxembourg at the Euro Vision Song Contest.
While Lara Fabian is located in the French-speaking world in the field chanson, she has released two English albums internationally, the commute between pop and adult contemporary. Life and career
The first appearance before a large international audience experienced Fabian in 1988 at Euro Vision Song Contest in Dublin. She went to Luxembourg and its title Croire reached number four. The winner was then Céline Dion, who also was the beginning of their global career.
Since 1997 Fabian is one of the great singing stars in France, Canada and Belgium. Tout, Je t'aime (1997), Si tu m'aimes (1998 ), La difference (1999), Adagio (2000) and immortelle (2002) were all in the top ten of the French charts. They also reached the mark with two duet recordings: Requiem pour un fou (1999, with Johnny Hallyday ) and Tu es mon autre (2002, with Maurane ). Fabian has since 1996, the Canadian citizenship and lives mainly in Brussels and Montréal. She is romantically involved with the French director Gérard Pullicino and has with him the daughter Lou, who was born on November 20, 2007 at the world.
