Larapan Island

Pulau Larapan is the Malaysian state of Sabah owned island in the Darvel Bay is open to the Celebes Sea. The island is located about 11 kilometers northwest of Semporna. The island extends 2.4 km in a north-easterly direction and is up to 1.3 kilometers wide. [Note 1] To the southwest, a wooded hill whose treetops rise up to 61 m rises. The island is separated by a few hundred meters narrow, navigable strait of Pulau Silawa in the West.

Demography

On the island there are a total of two settlements; Larapan Kg and Kg Larapan Hujung.
