Lars Hartig

Lars Hartig ( born December 24, 1990 in Husum ) is a German rower. His biggest success is the victory at the World Championships 2010 at the lightweight quadruple sculls.

Hartig qualified for the 2008 World Junior Championships, but was not used there as a substitute. 2009, in his first year in the age group under 23, he won as the underdog surprise at the German Championships in the lightweight One of the men said he had many older and more experienced rowers behind. As a result, he made a double scull with two years older Christian Hochbruck, won superior at the German Championships U23 in this boat class and was subsequently nominated for both the U-23 and the A- World Championships. In the U23 World Championships, the team won in a new world record at the World Championships in Poznan, the duo took then in the final in fourth place.

2010 rowed Hartig in the double sculls together with the new German champion in the lightweight single sculls Linus light shock.
