Lasse MÃ¥rtenson

Leave Mårtenson (* September 24, 1934 in Helsinki as Lars Anders Fredrik Mårtenson ) is a Finnish jazz singer and pianist.

In the 1950s he was popular with his Lasse Mårtenson trio as a singer and pianist in Finland. In the 1960s, numerous singles were released from it. He won the Finnish preselection at Grand Prix Euro Vision 1964 in Copenhagen and reached there with the jazz song Laiskotellen (German: loafers ) to seventh place. From the 1970s he was then mainly as a composer for television active and wrote some theme tune Finnish series. He joined occasionally with small supporting roles and even therein.
