Lavoye
Lavoye is a commune with 154 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meuse in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Bar-le -Duc and the Canton Seuil - d'Argonne.
Geography
The municipality is located in the natural landscape of the Argonne, about 22 kilometers south-west of Verdun. Neighboring municipalities are:
- Froidos in the north,
- Julvécourt in the east,
- Autrecourt -sur -Aire in the south,
- Waly in the southwest and
- Beaulieu -en- Argonne in the West.
The place itself is traversed by the River Aire in a northerly direction.
