Lazar Marković

Lazar Marković, Serbian Cyrillic: Лазар Марковић, ( born March 2, 1994, Čačak, Serbia) is a Serbian football player who is under contract at Benfica and plays for the Serbian national team. He previously played for Partizan Belgrade until he then changed hands for ten million euros to Portugal. He is currently considered one of the greatest young talents in Serbian and European football.

Playing career

Club football

With 12 years of Borac Čačak Marković joined by Partizan Belgrade. There he went through the youth teams of the club. Since July 2011 he has been a professional at Partizan. His first goal for Partizan 's shot on August 13, 2011. He was taken a long time in connection with the Chelsea. For the 2013/14 season, he spent 10 million euro to Benfica.

National

Lazar Marković currently plays for the Serbian national team. Since Siniša Mihajlovic brought him into the national team, he is also a regular player.
