The German magazine Rock Hard ruled in Lean Into It:

"MR. BIG are not " just another AOR band" - no, her songs live on brilliant ideas of the fretboard acrobats who miss the compositions an enormous Drive. Although the two sometimes have the tendency to put their skills too much in the foreground, but all in all, outweigh the actual compositions, in which MR. BIG show their best side. No matter whether this is ' Alive And Kickin '', ' Green Tinted 60 's Mind ' or ' Never Say Never' is - each of these songs demonstrates that one does not have to move according to predefined stereotype patterns to sew a really good song.
