Lectionary 11

Lectionary 11 ( according to the numbering of Gregory -Aland as sigla ℓ 11 designates ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament on parchment sheets ( vellum ). Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 13th century. Formerly it was known as the Codex Regius 309.

Description

The Code contains lessons of the Gospels ( Evangelistarium ) along with some lacunae. It was written in Greek minuscule on 142 parchment leaves (30 × 23 cm). Each side has 2 columns and 22 lines or more.

Originally owned the manuscript Colbert, as well as the lectionaries ℓ 7, ℓ 8 ℓ 9, ℓ 10, ℓ 12 It was von Wettstein and Scholz ( 1794-1852 ) were examined.

The Code is now in the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Gr. 309) in Paris.
