Lectionary 12

Lectionary 12 ( according to the numbering of Gregory -Aland called sigla ℓ 12) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament on parchment sheets ( vellum ). Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 13th century.

Description

The Code contains lessons from the Gospels of John, Matthew and Luke. It is a Lectionary ( Evangelistarium ) with some Lakunae.

It was written in Greek minuscule on 366 parchment leaves ( 30.5 × 23 cm). Each side has 2 columns and 24 rows.

Originally owned the manuscript Colbert, as well as the lectionaries ℓ 7, ℓ 8 ℓ 9, ℓ 10, ℓ 11 The manuscript was examined by Wettstein and Scholz.

The Code is now in the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Gr. 310) in Paris.
