Lectionary 7

Lectionary 7 ( according to the numbering of Gregory -Aland as sigla ℓ 7 indicates ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament on parchment leaves. It is dated by its colophon to the year 1204.

Description

The Code contains lessons of the Gospels ( Evangelistarium ) along with some lacunae. It is described in Greek Minuskelhandschrift on 316 parchment leaves ( 30.9 × 23.2 cm). Each side has 2 columns with 23 lines.

The manuscript was priest of Geord Rhodiu ( from Rhodes? ) Written.

Originally owned the manuscript Colbert, as well as the lectionaries ℓ 8 ℓ 9, ℓ 10, ℓ 11 and ℓ 12 was examined by Wettstein and Scholz.

The code is located in the Bibliothèque nationale de France under the signature Gr. 301 in Paris.
