Leinegraben (Leipzig)

The linen trench on the road Dösner

The linen trench ( sometimes the line ) is a river in the south of Leipzig. It flows in an east-west direction of Meusdorf to Dölitz and is a tributary of the splices. Water Legally, it is a body of water of the second order.

Course

The linen trench rises in the district of Leipzig Meusdorf in a grove near the confluence of the Altdorferweges in the Logauweg and flows along the Logauweges in the Meusdorfer pond behind the former Old sheepfold. After leaving the pond, he crossed the street near the Chemnitz Leipzig Prison. Then it flows through the park of the former Park-Krankenhaus Leipzig- dozing. In a broad meadow valley with road passing under the Dösner he reached the former village dozing. Now he keeps along the street line, until it disappears at the level of Newton Street in casing. This piping has existed since 1889. Underground it is passed to the Mühlpleiße.

The length of the rope groove is 4.26 km, of which 765 meters are piped.
