Lesparre-Médoc

Lesparre -Médoc is a French town with 5660 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The city is the seat of the prefecture (French Sous- préfecture ) of the arrondissements Lesparre -Médoc, this consists of four cantons, the canton is one of the Lesparre -Médoc. The community is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes Cœur du Médoc.

Geography

Lesparre -Médoc is situated in the center of the Médoc peninsula, formed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde, Garonne and Dordogne rivers mouth.
