Levan Kobiaschwili (Georgian ლევან კობიაშვილი, English transcription Kobiashvili ) (* July 10, 1977 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian footballer who is currently under contract at Hertha BSC. Since June 2, 2007, he is most-capped player of Georgian national football team.

Career

SC Freiburg

Levan Kobiaschwili began his career at Awasa Tbilisi. About Metalurg Rustavi, Dynamo Tbilisi and Vladikavkaz Alanija he moved in the winter of 1998 for SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga 2, where he played under coach Volker Finke on the left wing. In its first six series in Germany the Georgians rose with his club on directly to the Bundesliga. During the summer break, the Georgian Players out on loan initially returned to Tbilisi, but was soon re- committed from SC, with whom he established himself in the Bundesliga. Hertha BSC

Kobiaschwili had ( four inserts) played in the 2009/10 season at Schalke only at the beginning of the first round a role and left the Ruhr club for lack of perspective towards Berlin. He then vehemently denied an admission of guilt before the DFB court. In December 2012, he also agreed to a agreed with prosecutors Dusseldorf penalty order in the amount of 60,000 euros.

On October 11, 2011, he played in the European Championship qualifier against Greece his 100th game.
