The Town of Liberty is one of 21 Towns in Vernon County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, the Town of Liberty 252 inhabitants.
Town has a fundamentally different meaning than in other English-speaking area in Wisconsin. Rather, it corresponds to the usual in the other U.S. states townships that make up the next smallest administrative unit of the County.
Geography
The Town of Liberty is located in southwest Wisconsin and flows through the southeast corner of the Kickapoo River, a right tributary of the opening into the Mississippi River Wisconsin. Located on the Mississippi intersection of the three states of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin is located approximately 50 km to the west.
The Town of Liberty is located in the Driftless Area mentioned glacially shaped region that stretches across the southeastern Minnesota, southwestern Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and extreme northwestern Illinois.
