Geography
The Town of Viroqua is located in southwest Wisconsin, about 35 km east of the Mississippi located on the intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.
The Town of Viroqua is located in the Driftless Area mentioned glacially shaped region that stretches across the southeastern Minnesota, southwestern Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and extreme northwestern Illinois. All other roads are minor roads, some unpaved roadways and within local roads.
The nearest airports are the La Crosse Regional Airport (around 60 km north-west ), the Rochester International Airport in Rochester, Minnesota ( about 170 km west-northwest ) and the Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital, Madison ( about 160 km east-southeast ).
