Geography
Viroqua is located in southwest Wisconsin, about 35 km east of the Mississippi located on the intersection of the three states of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Viroqua is located in the Driftless Area mentioned glacially shaped region that stretches across the southeastern Minnesota, southwestern Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and extreme northwestern Illinois. On a section of track shared the U.S. highways 14 and 61 and the Wisconsin State Highway 27 extending in a north-south direction through the city of Viroqua. All other roads are minor roads, some unpaved roadways and within local roads.
