De Soto is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Vernon County and to a lesser extent in Crawford County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010 De Soto had 287 inhabitants.

Geography

De Soto is located in southwest Wisconsin on the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The intersection of the three states of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin is 9 km upstream in the north.
