Soldiers Grove is located in southwest Wisconsin on the Kickapoo River, a right tributary of the opening into the Mississippi River Wisconsin. The formed from the Mississippi border to Iowa is 33 km west. The intersection of the states of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin is located 46.4 km west-northwest; the border with Illinois runs 113 km south.
