Lieutenant Governor of Utah

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor (Lieutenant Governor ) exists in the U.S. state of Utah only since the year 1976. As deputy governor of the Secretary of State had earlier acts. This office was abolished with the state constitution of 1976; Utah is now one of three states, in which waives this post. Consequently, in all activities, which fills in other states, the Secretary of state, within the jurisdiction of the Lieutenant Governor. He thus is also responsible for oversight of all municipal elections to state level in Utah.
