Economic situation

The entire Sluknov tip is in the Czech Republic a problem area, cut off by the Lusatian mountains from the " Bohemian basin ", it is getting even with their own government received very little attention. Also from the German side coming up today little impetus for better economic integration with the region. The small village Lipova is now little used as a residence, a large portion of the existing building is only used as a weekend home. The potential traffic- location of the village is not bad. In an opening of the corresponding border crossings and an expansion of the passing through the city street a direct connection between Rumburk and Sebnitz could be created and thus the rooms Reichenbach / Lobau / Zittau and Southern Dresden are interconnected. Such a road could be a relief for the B96 on the German side and kick-start economic development in swallowing Auer tip.
