Liptovská TepliÄka
Liptovská Teplička ( until 1927 slovak without suffix " Teplička "; Zeplitschke German, Hungarian Teplicska ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia.
Location
It lies in the historical region Liptau ( Liptov ) at the foot of the Low Tatras under the mountain Kráľova hoľa the river Čierny Vah ( Waag Black ), one of the headwaters of the Waag. The county town of Poprad is 22 km away.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1634 and was settled by the highlanders from the regions of Orava and Kysuce. Apparently, the settlement of this area shall be carried out earlier: the still well recognizable striped Classification of Feldflur can think of a Waldhufendorf.
She owned 1916-1972 its own railway station on the now-defunct narrow gauge railway Považska Lesná železnica.
