List of nearest known stars

This list includes the sun or perigee stars up to a distance of 5 parsecs ( about 16 light-years ).

Color coding

Star with an apparent magnitude of more than 6.5 magnitudes can not be observed with the naked eye and are therefore greyed out. The colors yellow to red in the spectral column represent the respective spectral type of the star. Red font for parallax and distance characterize preliminary, uncertain rules.
