List of United States Senators from Maryland

The List of United States Senators from Maryland lists all those who ever belonged to the U.S. Senate for this State, sorted by the Senate classes. It shows a class when this is re-elected Senator. The election of the senators of the class 1 found 2012 held that the class 3 senators were re-elected in November 2010.

Class 1

Maryland 's 1788 U.S. state since April 28, and had up to now 30 senators of the class 1 in Congress, three of whom, Samuel Smith, Reverdy Johnson and William Whyte completed two non-contiguous terms. Maryland sent only from 1789 Senators.

Class 3

Maryland introduced today 29 senators of the "class 3", one of whom, Robert Goldsborough, two non- consecutive terms immediately completed.
