Little Calf Island

Little Calf Iceland is an island in Boston Harbor. It is located 9.2 mi ( 14.8 km ) from Boston's city center on the territory of the State of Massachusetts in the United States. It is administered by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR ) and is part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area.

The island consists of a single rock, up to 20 ft (6.1 m ) above the water.
Flora and Fauna
Little Calf Iceland serves many birds such as gulls and cormorants nesting site. There is no vegetation. The other wildlife of the island is still the subject of scientific studies.
