Llaneros FC

Llaneros Fútbol Club is a Venezuelan football club from Guanare. The club was founded in 1984 and plays its home matches at the Estadio Rafael Calles Pinto, which offers 13,000 spectators. Llaneros FC, who have never been Venezuelan champion, currently plays in La Liga, the top division in Venezuela.

History

The association Llaneros Fútbol Club, short Llaneros FC, ​​was founded on August 26, 1984 in Guanare, the capital and with more than one hundred thousand inhabitants, the largest city of the Venezuelan state of Portuguesa in the northwest of the country. Following the founding place of the club this is also known under the name Llaneros de Guanare.

Llaneros FC played in the early years after the club was founded in lower divisions of the Venezuelan football. In 1992, for the first time reached the summit in the Primera División, the highest league in the Venezuelan football.
