Zamora FC

Zamora Fútbol Club is a Venezuelan football club based in Barinas. The club was founded in 1977 and plays its home matches at the Estadio Agustín Tovar, which seats 27,500 spectators. Zamora FC has never Venezuelan football champion and currently plays in La Liga, the top division in Venezuela.

History

The association Zamora FC was founded on February 2, 1977 in Barinas, the capital of the federal state in western Venezuela. First, the club played in the lower leagues of Venezuelan football. In the season 2005/ 06 one was División second in the second division, the Segunda, and thus qualified for the first time for the Primera División, where you finished the first season with a surprisingly good fourth place in the final table after the Torneo Apertura of fifth and fourth place was occupied in the Torneo Clausura.
