Locmalo

Locmalo ( Breton: Lokmac'hloù ) is a commune with 882 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Local Government Association Pays du Roi Morvan.

Geography

Locmalo is in the northwest of the department of Morbihan and belongs to the Pays du Roi Morvan.

Neighboring municipalities are Langoëlan in the north, Séglien in the north and northeast, Guern in the east, in the southeast Bubry, Persquen in the south and Lignol, Guémené -sur -Scorff and Ploërdut in the West.

The village itself is located far away from major thoroughfares on the D782 from Rosporden according to Pontivy. The most important regional road link D768 which connects the N124 with the N125, leads more than twenty kilometers far from over in the East.
