Lope is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Pühalepa ( Pühalepa vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

Description and History

Lope ( German Leppe ) has 129 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2011). The place is located 6.5 km southeast of the island's capital Kärdla ( Kertel ).

1529 was the first time the " Leppesche village" mentioned.
