Lövsta, Gotland

Lövsta or Roma kyrkby is a place ( tätort ) on the Swedish Baltic Sea island of Gotland in the province of Gotland County and the historical province of Gotland.

It is located about 16 km from Visby and 2 km from Roma, about the middle of the island, which simultaneously forms the municipality of Gotland.

In the north of the village lies the novelty after conversions rich church in Roma. This church is not in place Roma themselves, but their catchment area ( parish, swedish socks) reaches there, which can lead to confusion of the two places.

A straight avenue of lime trees leads from the church to about 2 km from the ruined monastery monastery Roma.
