LuAZ
The Lutsk Automobile Plant ( Луцький автомобільний завод, also known as LuAZ ) is a company based in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles.
History
The operation began in the early 1960s, apparently to relieve the SAS ( Saporoshez ) with the production of buoyant and airborne -capable light off-road vehicles for the Russian army ( LuAZ 967 ). Later, again easy and cheap ATVs were needed for the development of the Karakum Desert, the 969er series was launched ( LuAZ 969 ). Currently it is bad to the traditional work that keeps up with the supplies for VAZ ( Lada ) and the mounting for Hyundai and Kia afloat. According to Russian sources, soon the car production will cease in favor of a restructuring in the production of buses.
