Lucie Arnaz

Lucie Desiree Arnaz ( born July 17, 1951 in Hollywood, California) is an American actress. She is the daughter of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, and the older sister of Desi Arnaz Jr..

Life

Lucie Arnaz began her acting career with appearances in the sitcom of her mother (The Lucy Show). In the follow-up mission Here's Lucy, she had for the first time a regular commitment.

In 1971, she married Phil Vandervort. The couple had divorced in 1977.

After a long pause at the beginning of the 1970s, she returned in 1975 before the camera back for the production of Who Is the Black Dahlia? , In which she played the murder victim Elizabeth Short. In 1980, she starred opposite Neil Diamond in the remake of the film The Jazz Singer. In the same year she married Laurence Luckinbill.

In 1986, she won the Sarah Siddons Award for her work for the Chicago Theater. In 1993 she won an Emmy for her documentary film Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie.

In 2000, she starred in a musical version of The Witches of Eastwick in the West End of London.
