Ludovic Obraniak

Ludovic Obraniak Joseph ( born November 10, 1984 in Longeville- lès- Metz) is a Polish footballer who owns next to the Polish and French citizenship. The midfielder is since 2014 the German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen under contract.

Career

Association

Obraniak was born in France, near the border with Germany and trained in the youth of the FC Metz. Here he made his debut in Ligue 1 and completed between 2002 and 2007 99 games and scored five goals for Metz. From there he moved in 2007 to league rivals Lille. National

Obraniak began in 2004 to play for the Under-21 French national team, because he is born in France, and only his relatives come from Poland. He graduated just a game for the Under-21 French national team, but decided the future for Poland, the land of his ancestors aground. Due to the fact that his Polish citizenship was found (formally it means that he has all his life ) and he has not been awarded by naturalization, and FIFA gave their consent. The Polish national team coach Leo Beenhakker appointed Obraniak for the international match against Greece on August 12, 2009.

In the preparations for the European Football Championship 2012 Obraniak was the second player after Damien Perquis from France with Polish ancestors. He graduated Franciszek Smuda under almost all friendlies before this European Championship for the Polish national football team and played in all games in the Euro 2012.

On May 16, 2013 Obraniak announced that he will no longer play for the national team under Waldemar Fornalik. The reason he called disputes with the coaching team and criticism from officials.

After the dismissal of coach Waldemar Fornalik Adam Nawałka took over the office of the Polish national team. He traveled to an interview with Obraniak and then announced that his return to public.
