Luigi Di Biagio

Luigi Di Biagio ( born June 3, 1971 in Rome ) is a retired Italian footballer and current coach.

Career

In the club

The defensive midfielder Di Biagio began his professional career in the youth of Brescia Calcio. His debut in Serie A, he was wearing the jersey of Lazio, but he did not come out here on this debut, which is why he moved to the sequel to the Series B club AC Monza Brianza. After three seasons in which he could play in the root formation, he returned to Serie A for U.S. Foggia. This time it succeeded Di Biagio, to compete in the top league, thanks to his convincing performance, the top clubs in the league was aware of him and the midfielder joined the 1996/97 season for AS Roma. After four seasons with the jersey of the Roma, Di Biagio moved to Inter Milan. Again, he was able to prevail at first and then became part of the service providers to the Nerazzurri. For the 2003/04 season Di Biagio returned to his original club Brescia Calcio. For the season 2006/ 07 he left Brescia at the moment to play for amateur club La Storta in his hometown. However, in the winter break, he returned to the professional business back when he moved to relegation-threatened Ascoli Calcio, where he ended his active career in the summer of 2007

In the National Team
